About Aviation Painting

My name is Humberto (Huey) Ayala, and I have been professionally painting and restoring airplanes since 1987.

I began my career in Miami, Florida, working for esteemed airlines like Eastern, Pan-American, and Midway Airlines. After a brief stint in Chicago with Midway, I moved to San Bernardino, California, where I joined Lockheed-Martin, painting 747s. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on everything from jumbo jets and small private planes to military fighter jets! In 1992, I joined Boeing, where I continued painting aircraft until 1996.

In 1996, I relocated to Everett, Washington, and spent 15 years painting aircraft for Aviation Exteriors. Eventually, I decided to start my own business, Aviation Painting, focusing on stripping, cleaning, and painting private planes. Over time, I expanded my services to include commercial aircraft as well.

My top priority has always been ensuring my customers are completely satisfied. I take pride in maintaining the highest standards of quality, treating every aircraft with the utmost care, and providing exceptional service from start to finish.
